Road Safety Week is Brake’s largest annual campaign, uniting thousands of schools, organisations, and communities to spread critical road safety messages, honour those affected by road accidents, and raise funds to support Brake’s work. Brake helps road victims and campaigns tirelessly for safer roads for all. Shockingly, over 1,700 people lose their lives on UK roads each year, with another 30,000 suffering serious, life-altering injuries. These numbers have seen little improvement in over a decade, underscoring the urgent need for action.
This year, Trakm8 is proud to participate in Brake’s Road Safety Week from 17th-23rd November 2024. The theme for 2024, “After the crash, every road victim counts,” aims to spark vital conversations about road safety and the support needed for road victims.

Celebrate Road Safety: Nominate Your Road Safety Hero!
To further raise awareness and celebrate safe driving, Trakm8 is excited to host our Road Safety Hero of the Year competition once again. We invite you to nominate an outstanding driver from your fleet who exemplifies safety and deserves this recognition.
- Nominate a Driver: Choose a driver from your fleet who you believe deserves the title of Road Safety Hero.
- Submit a Form: Complete the nomination form, explaining why your nominee stands out as a road safety champion.
- Ensure Consent: Please ensure the nominated driver is aware of the nomination, as their details will be shared with Trakm8 and publicised if shortlisted.
- Shortlist Announcement: On Wednesday, 20th November 2024, we will reveal the shortlisted nominees.
- Winner Announcement: On Friday, 22nd November 2024, we will announce the winner of the Road Safety Hero of the Year award.
- Prize: The winning driver will receive a £250 Amazon Voucher (terms and conditions apply).
