We are pleased to announce our latest release of Insight, 2.12.60, with an array of new features now live for all customers. Our development team has been busy adding several new features and enhancements in this release. Here are the highlights:

A number of enhancements are now available for the vehicle checks feature, making it easier for users to schedule vehicle checks as well as applying different vehicle check templates based on requirements.

This means that the vehicle check schedule that is applied to resources belonging to specific depots or vehicle types within the organisation can now be configured more flexibly in order to provide a solution for various user cases.
The vehicle check schedule controls how often and at what time of the day the checks must be completed and submitted by the vehicle’s driver. Users have the ability to set the schedule as fixed or dynamic, fixed schedules require the driver to complete the check at a regular time as per the configured schedule whereas dynamic checks are better suited to customers who utilise Trakm8’s Optimisation solution. Dynamic vehicle checks caters to varying shift and work patterns, allowing the driver of the vehicle to complete the vehicle checks before despatching a delivery manifest.

The device admin user interface has been updated to make it easier for users to claim devices within their insight organisation. Users can choose whether to add the IMEI reference number manually or to complete a bulk import using a CSV file containing the IMEI references.
This is particularly helpful for customers who utilise a self-fit solution, allowing the users to manage all of their newly installed devices within the portal.

In addition to the date that the journey was completed, weekdays are now available when reviewing historic journeys via the livetrack widget. This enhancement allows users to review historic data more intuitively.

Units of measure (UoM) for metrics that have been used within a report are now available on the headings for all of Insight’s canned reports as well as custom reports that are created by individual users.
