We are pleased to announce our latest release of Insight, 2.14.0, with an array of new features now live for all customers. Our development team has been busy adding several new features and enhancements in this release. Here are the highlights:
Media Viewing Tool
Compatible Insight tiers: Business & Enterprise
A new media tool has been introduced to all Insight tiers, allowing users who utilise an integrated camera solution (such as the RH600 and RH800 camera) to view, upgrade and export camera files with ease.
The media tool allows users to quickly review camera footage using the thumbnail view of the file, making it simpler to identify the required image or video.
Livestream Functionality now available on livetrack widget
Compatible tiers: Essentials, Business & Enterprise
Livestream functionality has been added to the livetrack widget, making it easier for users to access a camera’s livestream without having to move to a different dashboard.
Livestreaming functionality is only available for customers who utilise an integrated camera solution (such as the RH600 and RH800 camera). The livestream button will be visible when a vehicle within the livetrack collection is currently in a journey (the vehicle’s ignition must be switched on to generate a livestream).
When selecting the option to generate a livestream, a new window will populate on top of the dashboard to display the stream view. The window will remain black until a stream has been established.
Livetrack Visibility functionality
Compatible tiers: Essentials, Business & Enterprise
The livetrack widget has been updated to allow users to have more control over which livetrack collections are visible. This means that even if a livetrack collection has been shared with a user, it is still fully configurable at user preference level if the livetrack is visible or not within the tool. This means that users can configure their view to only show relevant vehicle groups and allows for a tidier user experience.
In addition being able to manage the visibility of shared livetracks, there is also now a tick-box available that allows users to easily toggle the visibility of empty livetrack collections. The option to hide empty collections is enabled as standard though can be updated based on preference.
