Trakm8 is delighted to announce that LCB Group, specialists in building repairs, maintenance, retrofit, and construction projects, has chosen our RH600 4G integrated telematics cameras and Insight Platform to enhance fleet safety and efficiency, while addressing rising insurance premiums.
LCB Group has been a valued customer of Trakm8 Reseller, Wetrack Ltd, since 2017. They initially adopted Trakm8’s Spot On telematics platform, upgraded to the Swift platform in 2021, and are now migrating to our most advanced 360-degree business intelligence platform “Insight” with the addition of RH600 cameras.
The upgrade involves replacing C430S telematics units with RH600 Telematics cameras across 253 vans. This decision reflects LCB Group’s proactive approach to fleet management, focusing on enhancing driver safety and maintaining operational excellence. The integration of the new camera system will complement ongoing Driver Behaviour Training, further supporting safe driving practices.
The RH600 is Trakm8’s most advanced integrated telematics camera, combining a high-definition 4G camera with state-of-the-art telematics to offer unparalleled insights into driver behaviour and vehicle performance. It features real-time video streaming for instant visibility of road incidents, GPS tracking for precise location management. Additionally, the RH600 captures data key metrics such as acceleration, braking, cornering, and speed. These features are designed to promote safer driving habits and provide fleet managers with the tools they need to support their teams on the road.
Automatic incident detection instantly alerts fleet managers of accidents, helping to expedite the claims process and reduce insurance costs. The RH600 also includes our Trakm8 Connectedcare vehicle health solution, which helps minimise the risk of vehicle breakdowns and non-starts, control service and repair costs, and improve residual values. It provides insights into key metrics such as true ODO, dashboard warning lights, fuel or AdBlue levels, and tyre pressure.
Sean Hewings, Fleet Manager at LCB Group, who joined the company just over a year ago, has been a key advocate for this upgrade. Drawing from his prior experience with Trakm8, Sean has spearheaded initiatives aimed at enhancing driver safety and managing rising insurance costs. His efforts have been supported by a bursary from the company’s insurer to help offset the upgrade expenses.
